Biography

Dr. Sarath completed his MBBS from JIPMER, Pondicherry, and pursued a post-graduation MD in Internal Medicine at PGIMER Chandigarh. Further, he completed his Post-Doctoral (DM) Cardiology and invasive cardiology residency at SVIMS University India. He worked initially as an Assistant Professor of Cardiology and later as an Interventional Cardiologist in several high-volume invasive cardiac cath lab centers in Hyderabad, India. He is a Fellow of the Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions, USA (FSCAI) and a Fellow of the European Society of Cardiology (FESC). He is a Member of TSCSI and a Life Member of the Cardiology Society of India (CSI). He has performed more than 3000 coronary interventions. He is fully trained in transracial Coronary angiograms and complex coronary interventions, including rotablation, bifurcation, left main stenting, chronic total occlusions, and vein graft stenting post-CABG, valvuloplasty, percutaneous device closures for structural heart disease. He also performs peripheral angiogram and angioplasty and right heart catheterization and interpretation. His areas of expertise include,
